The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has issued a warning that heavy rain and flash‑flood conditions will affect several Saudi regions on Tuesday. The forecast calls for intense precipitation across the southern and western parts of the Riyadh region and the eastern areas of Makkah, Asir and Al‑Baha. Rainfall is expected to be accompanied by hail, strong surface winds that could sharply reduce visibility, and rapid runoff that may create flash floods in valleys and ravines. NCM spokesperson Hussein Al‑Qahtani stressed that residents in flood‑prone zones should take immediate precautions, stay informed through the centre’s continual updates, and follow all instructions from relevant authorities. He specifically urged people to avoid valleys and flood channels until conditions improve. The alert aims to minimize risk to life and property as the severe weather moves through the affected areas.
